This sleek pair of MCM brass bookends were made for Janford Wares in the 1960s and designed by Ben Seibel. They are marked on the backside. One of the bases is slightly loose from the metal triangle but is still secure and functional (reflected in price).
Ben Seibel was an influential American industrial designer known for his contributions to tableware and kitchenware.
In overall excellent vintage condition with minimal patina and wear.
