Blue Bitossi Pottery Lidded Dish

A beautiful interlocking leaf pattern on the lid of this deep blue Italian pottery dish by Bitossi Ceramics. 

Founded in 1921, the company really made their mark during the 1950s and ’60s under the art direction of Aldo Londi. 

In overall very good vintage condition with just a couple of minor flea bites of the blue glaze missing on the inner rim of the base. No significant chips or cracks.
