This is a vintage Italian Bitossi pottery planter. From our research, it is an early piece, likely designed by Aldo Londi in the 1950s. Could also be styled or used as a vase.
It features a distinctive wide, V-shaped body with a pedestal base and the glaze is a mottled, textured design in shades of green, blue, silver/gray, and gold. Marked on base.
In overall very good vintage condition with one area of glaze loss that was previously repaired with gold paint. Very hard to notice on display and the pottery itself does not appear to be chipped. Pictured and reflected in price.
Dimensions: 5.25" h x 11" w x 4.5" d
