Green Caltagirone Pinecone Candle Holders

This pair of Emerald Green Sicilian ceramic items are traditionally known as "Mezza Pigna" (half pinecones), often used as planters, cachepots, or decorative ornaments. The perfect size opening to hold a taper candle or use as a shallow vase/planter. In Sicilian folklore, pinecones symbolize good luck, health, fertility, and prosperity. 

In excellent condition with no chips or cracks, just a couple of minor glaze skips that are part of manufacturing.
