Pair of Brass Swedish Lily Candlesticks

Pair of brass Lily candlesticks, made in Sweden and marked on base. Holds a standard taper or lucite candle. 

Ivar Ålenius Björk designed a series of brass candlesticks for the Swedish manufacturer Ystad-Metall, which closed in 1969. The Lily was one of these candlesticks and it has become a modern design classic that has appeared in many international interiors.

In excellent vintage condition with light patina present that could be polished.
